So yeah.... it happened again...

Remember this post?

So the thief DID NOT learn his/her lesson. They are now trying to sell it on their own website:

Last time, he/she argued like this: "I haven't made any claim that the art used in the charms are 100% hand-drawn or hand-painted by me or anything like that."

But now:
"All pendants have been handmade by Heather Zayne and each charm is of the highest quality. All images are copyright ©2010 TheCuriousCharm."

And my original artwork on dA:

I believe it's the same thief... CuriousCharm = CCpendant.
I am e-mailing them a "hate e-mail".
*boiling in anger*

::quick update:: the seller tried to hide her crime very fast! haha, i have taken the proofs anyway!

I am sorry for you. Hope this person finally learns the lesson and stop doing that. Fingers crossed for it.
(On the bright side this situation means that your talent is really a very good one;))

Hi Ewa :D
Thank you for the support.
I don't think she will ever learn actually, because she believe she didn't do anything wrong.

BUT
I do believe she will pay her own karma.

My dear I have seen this happening through the blogs, it is awful and it is unfair no matter how she feels herself. I shall not call it robbery even though I'd like to. To my experience this kind of people seldom learn from their experience but a "gentle" reminder from time to time may help.Minihugs rosanna

Hi Rosanna :D

I know this kind of topic is a never-ending story. This one hurts me because I made this illustration for fun, and she just ruin it by saying that it's hers.

Actually I have cooled off at the moment, because I know: she will do it again, and I/ somebody else will catch her.

Sorry to hear of your troubles =0/

I think a lot of people don't understand or care about interllectual copyright of images on the internet. They see it as a victimless crime. I think you should consider putting a watermark across your work to prevent this happening again.

Such a shame you have to go to such lengths though..*hugs*

Tacky is the only thing I can say. You've obviously worked hard on your beautiful drawings and if she cant do her own, she can easily buy rights or get copyright free illustrations. Horrid...
