Japan Trip Day 2 - Tokyo Disneyland

>>  16.11.11

From Ikebukuro station, we took Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line to change train at Shin-Kiba; and then we change to JR Keiyo Line to Maihama. I have printed out the map from the Tokyo Disneyland's website before. I always asked the person at station for which line to go, especially on the JR line because there are so many train and you will easily get confused. You could ask how much the fare is. Or another way is to buy the cheapest ticket and go to the "Fare Adjustment" machine and top up the difference before exiting.

They were just finishing the Halloween theme and making changes for the Christmas theme, so I think we came at the wrong timing. There was no parade yet, :( so sad to have miss that.
We enjoyed the roller coaster rides very much, despite the long queue.

the castle

There was glass art shop inside the castle. Luckily, I took some photos while he was working on the Cinderella's pumpkin carriage wheels. Please view more photos on my flickr.

For lunch we bought from Huey, Dewey and Louie's Good Time Cafe.

Donald Burger (Fried Prawn)

Mickey Pizza

Toon Treat (Japanese Sweets)

We walked around for more and shopped a lot! Some of the crackers and loots from the day.

We were pretty much tired and circled back to the main entrance, so we decided to go to the coffee house in search for coffee drinks and dinner.

clam chowder soup and coffee float

beef hayashi rice (the egg on top of the rice is so fluffy!)

seafood gratin (my mom's)

my mom posed as we walked out from the shops :)

he was cutting somebody's silhouettes (look how comfortable he was~)

We stayed around to watch the fireworks, although I was too lazy to take the photos. We regret that we never bought the 2 days ticket so we could have gone to the DisneySea. Nevermind, next time we will return! :)

Ahhh I love your photos! Do you know where else to buy the Alice in Wonderland tea tin w/tea bags? I'm in love with it. >.<

I wish I knew (kind of regret only buying one, even when it's expensive) :( Even in the Tokyo Disneyland, only 1 store carries this.
